DeKalb woman killed in traffic accident in Gadsden Alabama

An Ider woman died Wednesday morning in a one-vehicle accident on DeKalb County Road 295, two miles east of Fort Payne, according to the Alabama State Troopers.Leanne Ivey, 32, was killed when the vehicle in which she was a passenger left the roadway about 2:39 a.m. and struck a tree.The driver, Franklin Blevins, 29, of Fort Payne, was injured and transported to a local hospital.The accident is under investigation.
