Fort Wayne, IN : Driver dies after crash with semi at the 11900 block of Bluffton Road, south of Winters Road on Monday, 12th October, 2020

A man died after police said he crossed the centerline on Bluffton Road and collided head-on with a semi early Monday.

The Allen County Sheriff's Department said it was called about 5:20 a.m. to the 11900 block of Bluffton Road, south of Winters Road.

Investigators determined the driver of a Ford Taurus was headed north on Bluffton Road when he crossed the centerline, colliding head-on with a semi going south. The driver of the Taurus was thrown from the car and pronounced dead at a hospital.

The driver of the semi was not injured.
