GEORGETOWN, KY : Victim killed in Scott Co crash identified on Wednesday, 2nd October 2024

The victim of a Scott County crash has been identified.

Scott County Coroner Mark Sutton has identified the victim as 61-year-old Terry Coyle of Stamping Ground.

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened late Wednesday morning on Stamping Ground Road near Viley Lane.

The sheriff’s office says it appears that a dump truck was traveling along the road when it went off the shoulder. They say the dump truck overcorrected and slammed into a Toyota pick-up truck.
