NORTH AURORA, IL : Motorcyclist suffers minor injuries in crash on Tuesday, October 3, 2017
A motorcycle rider who was hit by a pickup truck Oct. in North Aurora was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, officials said.
The crash occurred at 3:20 p.m. when a 1999 Ford pickup, driven by Dana Anastasia, 52, of the 400 block of Batavia Avenue, Batavia, pulled out of a private road about 500 feet north of Oak Street, North Aurora Deputy Chief Scott Buziecki wrote in an email.
Anastasia’s pickup struck a 2016 Harley-Davidson motorcycle ridden by Kenneth Goldman, 31, of the 600 block of Spring Avenue, Naperville, as it was traveling south on Randall Road, Buziecki’s email stated.
Goldman, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected from the motorcycle and transported to Presence Mercy Medical Center in Aurora with minor, non-life threatening injuries, Buziecki’s email stated.
