Carmageddon' didn't happen

It should have been worse. Thousands of Metro-North riders left without a direct connection to Stamford and Grand Central Terminal after a train collision closes a key section of the New Haven Line. At stations from New Haven to Stratford they board a commuter train that takes them to Bridgeport.
