Concord, NH : Investigating a crash on Tuesday, June 13, 2017

Massachusetts State Police are investigating a crash that took the life of a New Hampshire resident.

Authorities said Shannon Jackson, 27, of Manchester, New Hampshire, died after hitting a Massachusetts DOT help van tow truck.

It happened just before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 93 Southbound near exit 44 in Andover.

Massachusetts State Police said that the DOT vehicle had been assisting a disabled vehicle in the left lane when the crash occurred.

Jackson was pronounced dead at Boston Medical Center.

The crash is still under investigation, but police believe speed was a factor.

The operator of the van was not injured.
