SUMMIT COUNTY, CO : Eastbound I-70 reopens after semi crash on Tuesday, 4th April 2023

Eastbound Interstate 70 has reopened after a semi-truck rolled over, blocking a portion of the interstate in the mountains Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened around noon near mile marker 227 west of Georgetown, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The eastbound lanes of the interstate were closed between Silverthorne and Loveland Pass for several hours due to the crash. The interstate reopened just before 4:30 p.m., CDOT said.
