A woman was killed in a wreck Wednesday evening in High Point.
Ebony James, 28, of High Point, was killed in a two-vehicle wreck, police said today.
She was driving a Nissan Altima west on Vail Street about 6:10 p.m., then turned right onto South Elm Street, police said. After turning, James drove left of the center line, hitting a Honda Accord driving south on Elm Street head-on, police said.
James and the driver of the Honda were taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for their injuries, police said. James died from the injuries she sustained.
The driver of the Honda will not be charged, police said.
