Colchester , VT : 4-car crash in Colchester sends 2 to hospital on Thursday afternoon ,June 18th 2015

A four-car crash on Heineberg Drive in Colchester Thursday afternoon sent two people to the hospital.

Police say a driver was attempting to turn left onto Bonanza Park when a driver three vehicles behind her had his foot slip onto the gas instead of the brake while at a stop. That move caused a chain reaction crash, sandwiching the two cars in the middle. Those two drivers were sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation but authorities say drugs and alcohol were not a factor.
