HANNIBAL, MO : Palmyra woman injured in Hannibal crash on Monday, 9th March, 2020

A Palmyra woman was injured in a Monday night crash in Hannibal.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that a 2015 GMC Terrain driven by Margretta Tyler, 72, of Palmyra was traveling east on Veterans Road at West Ely Road at 5:07 p.m. The patrol said the vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a 2016 Toyota 4Runner traveling north driven by Gerri L. Jeffries, 52, of Hannibal.

Tyler was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital with minor injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.

The patrol was assisted by the Marion County Sheriff's Department, Marion County Ambulance and Hannibal Rural Fire Department.
