Walnut Creek,CA : Two children, adult dead in crash on I-880 in Fremont; San Jose man arrested on May, Wednesday 16th 2018

A 21-year-old man arrested after a five-vehicle freeway crash that killed three people, including two children believed to be sisters, is suspected of causing the crash by driving under the influence of marijuana, the California Highway Patrol said Wednesday morning.

The Alameda County Coroner’s Office identified two of the victims as 9-year-old Brooke Limas and 14-year-old Christy Limas but did not have a place of residence for them. Officials said they are believed to be sisters.

They were in a Cadillac Escalade.

An adult woman who was also in the Escalade also died in the crash. She has not been identified.
