One person is dead after a motor vehicle accident in Horry County
It happened around 6:30pm Friday on Highway 707 near Friendship Lane.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the driver of a 2000 Hyundai headed north on 707, crossed the center line and hit a Ford truck headed south.
Troopers say the Hyundai driver died in the crash and the driver of the truck went to the hospital with minor injuries.
The name of the person killed is not officially released.
