Baton Rouge, LA : No injuries after school bus crash near Airline Highway and Barringer on Friday, May 13, 2016

An East Baton Rouge school bus transporting children was involved in a collision Friday but no one was injured, officials said.

The crash occurred near Airline Highway and Barringer in Baton Rouge before 8:10 am, said EMS spokesman Mike Chustz, but he said those involved did not need medical care.

Adonica Pelichet Duggan, an East Baton Rouge Parish schools spokeswoman, confirmed the bus belonged to the district and said agency officials are responding to the scene.
