Eau Claire, WI : A 30-year-old Eau Claire area man was killed on Saturday, June 10, 2017

A 30-year-old Eau Claire area man was killed Saturday afternoon when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a minivan at the intersection of Seymour Road and North Hastings Way, according to Eau Claire police.

Justin P. May was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police:

May was driving his sport-style motorcycle northbound on North Hastings Way and the minivan was making a left turn onto Seymour Road from southbound North Hastings Way. The collision happened in the northbound lane and was reported at 12:27 p.m.

The minivan was being driven by a juvenile female, whose identity was not released by police. There was also an adult female front passenger. Both were from the Eau Claire area and neither required medical attention.

May was wearing a helmet. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor. The crash is still under investigation.
