Detroit, MI : Hit-and-run on John Kronk near Central on Monday morning in southwest Detroit on April 28th 2014

Police are working to identify the victim of a hit-and-run discovered in the middle of a road Monday morning in southwest Detroit.

The man, found by a passerby on John Kronk Street near Central Street, was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, Detroit police Sgt. Ryan Connor said.

Investigators also haven’t identified a suspect, and they had John Kronk blocked off this morning to investigate the scene.

The victim was wearing a green T-shirt and jeans, and he might be in his 30s, police said.
