Canon City, CO : Man suffered medical issue, crashed into ditch in the 200 block of Royal Gorge Boulevard on Sunday, 25th August 2019

A 77-year-old man suffered a medical issue and crashed Sunday afternoon while driving in the 200 block of Royal Gorge Boulevard.According to the Cañon City Police Department, the vehicle, which was traveling eastbound, went off the side of the road on U.S. 50 and was kept from going into a ditch near the Parkview Inn Motel by a chainlink fence.

Authorities stated the driver crossed the westbound lanes, struck the curb and went into the fence. There were no injuries and minor damage to the vehicle.
