Pittsburgh, PA : Uniontown man killed in fatal crash in Fayette County on Monday evening, February 6, 2017

A 27-year-old Uniontown man was killed Monday evening when he pulled into the path of another vehicle on State Route 40 in Wharton Township, Fayette County.

Pennsylvania State Police said Carey M. Kelley entered the road, also known as National Pike, from Skyline Drive shortly before 6 p.m. and was struck by a behicle driven by Anthony Myers, 24, of Markleysburg. Mr. Kelley was pronounced dead just after 7 p.m. at Uniontown Hospital.

Mr. Myers was treated for minor injuries and released.
