Lee County, FL : Fatal crash involving wrong way driver on I-75 in Lee County on Sunday, 29th September 2024

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal wrong-way crash that occurred on the northbound lanes of Interstate 75.

According to FHP, an 86-year-old man was traveling south on the northbound lanes of I-75 near mile marker 139 in

Lee County at around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.

A 56-year-old woman was traveling north on I-75 near the same mile marker.
