Dallas,TX : Selma man killed in one-car crash in Dallas County on December, Saturday 30th 2017

A Selma man was killed Friday night after the car he was driving left the road, struck a tree and overturned, authorities said Saturday.

Chadwick Jabar Reed, 30, was driving on U.S. 80 near the 98-mile marker in his 2013 Dodge Avenger when the crash occurred about 10 miles east of Selma, an ALEA spokesman said. Reed was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alabama State Troopers continued to investigate the crash as of Saturday night.
