Osage, AR : 20-year-old dies after fatal crash on U.S. Hwy 412 in Carroll County on Tuesday morning, December 29, 2015

Arkansas State Police said a 20-year-old woman was killed Tuesday morning after a fatal crash on U.S. Hwy 412 near Osage.

State Police said Tabitha Triplett, of Harrison, was driving eastbound on Hwy 412, downhill when she lost control of her vehicle. Triplett's car spun around on the roadway into oncoming traffic.

Triplett's car hit a second vehicle driving by 70-year-old Verna Eaglin of Midway, according to the incident report.

Eaglin was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
