Duval County ,FL : Driver injured in single-vehicle crash on Monday night ,July 13th 2015

A driver has been hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash on Jacksonville's Westside.
The driver crashed his car Monday night on Firestone Road and Prellie Street, which is just off Interstate 295.

Police said the driver is believed to have been speeding. The car landed on its side and emergency crews used the Jaws of Life to cut through the car's roof and get the driver out.
The victim was taken to UF Health Jacksonville for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
