White Haven woman killed in crash
Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania
A White Haven woman was killed in a car crash shortly before midnight Saturday on Interstate 80 East in Carbon County.
According to state police in Fern Ridge, Michele M. Albee, 31, was traveling on I-80 when her 2008 Ford Edge went off the left shoulder of the roadway and into the center median around 11:40 p.m. Her car rolled over several times, and she was ejected from the car. The car came to rest on its roof, police said.
I-80 East was closed between White Haven and Exit 274 for about 1 ½ hours, while the crash was being investigated.
Albee was pronounced dead at the scene by the Carbon County deputy coroner.
