DANVILLE, KY : 12-year-old killed in UTV crash on Saturday, 20th July 2024

The Boyle County Coroner says a 12-year-old was killed in a crash involving a UTV Saturday evening.

The coroner tells WKYT, the crash happened on Kennedy Bridge Road on the Garrard-Mercer County line.

The child was a passenger in the UTV.

They were taken to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, where the coroner says they died just before 6:30 p.m.

The coroner has not yet released the 12-year-old’s name, and the investigation is ongoing.
