Oklahoma City,OK : Motorcyclist killed in crash on Lincoln County highway on October, Monday 16th 2017

A motorcyclist died Monday afternoon in a crash on a Lincoln County highway, Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials said.

Keith Hendrix, 47, was riding his motorcycle south on U.S. 177 near County Road 1010, about 6.5 miles northwest of Meeker, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol accident report. The motorcycle left the highway for an unknown reason, and Hendrix was ejected.


He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the report, Hendrix was not wearing his helmet at the time of the crash.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
