Victoria,TX : Police investigate possible auto-pedestrian wreck on December, Monday 11th 2017

Victoria police officers and EMS responded to the intersection of Halsey Street and Rosemary Avenue after receiving calls that a woman was hit or dragged by a vehicle Monday night.

Officers were not able to locate the vehicle and aren't sure whether or not the woman was hit intentionally by the driver, said patrol officer Mark Kelly, of the Victoria Police Department. They responded to the scene at 9:07 p.m.

"Right now, according to the witness, the female, who was either hit or drug by the car, jumped onto the car herself," Kelly said at the scene. "I'm still trying to figure out what the whole situation was."

The woman was taken with unknown injuries to DeTar Hospital Navarro, Kelly said.

The names of those involved were unavailable at the scene late Monday.
