Wareham, MA : Driver injured after Vehicle crashes off Interstate 495 in Wareham on Sunday, May 8, 2016

The driver of a vehicle was flown to the hospital following a crash on the southbound side of Interstate 495 near the ramp to Interstate 195 in Wareham, police said.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle was reportedly driving at a high rate of speed when he crashed his vehicle. Witnesses say the vehicle became fully engulfed in flames.

A good Samaritan passing the crash pulled the man from the fiery wreckage.

The victim was flown to a Rhode Island Hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
