TOWN OF CALAMUS, WI : Dodge County man in critical condition after overnight motorcycle crash on Sunday, 14th April 2024

A man from Beaver Dam was airlifted to UW-Health Madison in critical condition after a motorcycle crash early Sunday morning.

Just after 1 a.m. on Sunday, Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Owl Road in the Town of Calamus for a one-motorcycle crash that was called in by a nearby resident.

On the scene, deputies found a 37-year-old male from Beaver Dam in a field and performed lifesaving measures with assistance from Beaver Dam Fire and Paramedics. He was taken to Marshfield Medical Center by Beaver Dam Paramedics and then airlifted to UW-Health in Madison and is in critical condition.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but alcohol is believed to be a factor.
