Hunterdon County, NJ : One person thrown from van, 2 hurt in Holland Township crash on Tuesday morning, April 26, 2016

One person was thrown from a van when it crashed and rolled over Tuesday morning at the Delta gas station on Route 519.

The van was heading south on Route 519 just before the crash. Two people were injured, according to Holland Township Police. "The driver was not ejected but a passenger was," said Holland Police Sgt. Sean Gutsick. Both are from northern New Jersey, he said. They were both conscious after the crash, and both were taken to the trauma center at St. Luke's Hospital.

Gutsick said the van, a commercial delivery van, crossed over Route 519 at the crest of the hill and then went through the parking lot at the Delta gas station, missing the gas pumps and hitting a pylon by a light pole that then fell on the attendant's car, which was parked nearby.

Emergency responders were dispatched around 10:45 a.m. They included Holland Township Police, the Holland Township Fire Department, the Milford-Holland Rescue Squad, Pattenburg Rescue Squad and paramedics from Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township.

Holland Township Police were still at the scene investigating around 2:30 p.m. are investigating.
