DAYTON, OH : 3 transported in Dayton crash on Friday, December 9th 2016
Multiple people were transported to area hospitals Friday afternoon following a crash in Dayton.
It happened just after 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Riverside and Ridge Avenue.
A woman driving a silver car was going toward downtown Dayton on Riverside Avenue when she ran a red light, striking a white PT Cruiser that was headed north on Ridge Avenue.
A total of three cars were involved in the crash. The two occupants in the PT Cruiser were transported, as well as the driver of the silver car. The driver of the silver car will be cited for running the red light.
The other, third car did nut sustain much damage and was released at the scene.
The three people transported are not believe to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
Southbound Riverside from Ridge westbound will be closed in the turn lane to traffic. Northbound on Riverside will be closed at Mary Avenue.
