Four people, including two officers, were taken to a hospital early Friday morning following a crash in southeast Portland.

Just before 3 a.m., officers responded to a burglary call at a bookstore in the 16400 block of Southeast Powell Boulevard. Officers located the suspect’s car near Southeast 136th Avenue and Southeast Holgate Boulevard and tried to stop it. Police say the suspect fled from the traffic stop and eluded officers. Officers did not pursue due to policy restrictions, according to police.

At 3:15 a.m., the suspect car collided with a patrol SUV at the intersection of Southeast Holgate Boulevard and Southeast 111th Avenue.
