San Antonio, TX : Motorcyclist injured on South Side after crash with sedan on Friday morning, July 15, 2016

A motorcyclist was seriously injured on Friday morning after slamming into a car that pulled out in front of him on the South Side.

San Antonio Police Department officers were called out to the crash in the 1300 block of Pleasanton Road, near the intersection of Robert E. Lee inside Loop 410, around 10:15 a.m.

Police at the scene said the man was headed north when a woman in a small sedan try to make a left turn as he approached the intersection.

The man was thrown from the bike and was not wearing a helmet, officers said.

He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

His injuries were not considered life threatening.
