Freehold, NJ : Three people, including a pregnant woman injured after two cars collided head-on at Jackson Mills Road near Geisler Road on Wednesday evening, December 31, 2014
A pregnant woman was among three people hospitalized after a head-on crash in central New Jersey.
Freehold police tell the Asbury Park Press that the crash occurred around 7:50 p.m. Wednesday on Jackson Mills Road in the Monmouth County community.
They say a southbound car driven by 22-year-old Shabbir Abbas, of Woodbridge, crossed the center line and struck a northbound vehicle driven by 29-year-old Wook Kim, of West Windsor.
Abbas, Kim and his pregnant passenger, 30-year-old Nancy Karroum of Jackson, were all taken to hospitals for treatment of undisclosed injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Abbas was cited for careless driving.
