A fiery crash closed northbound interstate 75 for a couple hours Sunday afternoon in McMinn County. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said it worked two separate injury crashes within a few miles of each other. Dispatch said one crash occurred near mile marker 34, while another was at mile marker 36. Both were single vehicle crashes. Injuries were reported and life star went to each scene, according to THP. No word yet on the extent of those injuries. Video sent in from a viewer showed heavy smoke and flames near a wooded area along the road at the crash by mile marker 36, near Highway 163.
