Logan County , OK : Teen driver was critically injured and taken to hospital after Crashed his Car on Sunday , January 25th 2015

A teen driver crashed his car and didn't get help for hours.

The driver's family said he laid next to his car overnight until someone found him. He has a broken neck, broken arm and burns all over his body.

"He was coated from head-to-toe in gasoline. They're still trying to scrub it off," the teen's sister, Angela Harris, said.

Clayton Gunter was flown to OU Med by helicopter after he was finally found.

The car was totaled in the crash. Gunter is expected to be in the hospital for weeks and has multiple surgeries already scheduled.

Harris told KOCO 5 News that Gunter may lose some of his fingers due to the burns.

"It's been very, very hard on our family and everybody has been up here since (Saturday)," Harris said.

He's in serious condition. Harris said she hopes her brother's crash will remind people to call for help when they see someone in need no matter what the circumstances.
