Russellville,KY : Auto accident sends one to hospital on March, Monday 26th 2018
On Monday, March 26, 2018, the Logan County Sheriff's Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on Hwy. 431 north of Lewisburg.
A Ryder delivery truck, driven by Roger D. Elam was traveling south on Hwy. 431 when he ran off the roadway and lost control of hie vehicle, overturning onto a 2005 Chevrolet SUV driven by Terri M. Schulze of Greenville.
A passenger in the Chevrolet was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extracted by the use of the Jaws of Life, operated by the Lewisburg Rural Fire Department.
Wendy Walker of Browder was airlifted to Skyline Medical Center in Tennessee by Air Evac due to her injuries.
Assisting the Logan County Sheriff's Department on scene included the Lewisburg Rural Fire Department, Logan County EMS and Chaplain Mike Humble.
