OLD LYME, CT : Minor injuries reported in crash that involved motorcycle bicycle in Old Lyme on Wednesday, 26th July 2023

Minor injuries were reported in a crash that involved a motorcyclist and a bicyclist in Old Lyme on Wednesday night.

Route 156 in Old Lyme was closed around 6:30 p.m. It has since reopened.

Troopers said the 58-year-old motorcyclist headed southbound on Shore Road at the intersection of Ferry Road.

He tried to pass the southbound-pedaling 75-year-old bicyclist, but the bicyclist drifted into the southbound travel lane, state police said.
