El Monte, CA :Two people injured in 10 Freeway crash in El Monte on Tuesday, September 16, 2014

Two people were injured Tuesday in a crash on the 10 Freeway at Peck Road, Los Angeles County Fire Department Inspector Keith Mora said. A truck traveling eastbound on the freeway around 3:30 p.m., crashed into the center divider wall and hit vehicles, California Highway Patrol officials said. The victims sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital, Officer Patrick Kimball said. Kimball did not know how many cars were involved in the crash. One of the cars which caught fire was quickly extinguished by firefighters, Mora said.
