THAYER, MO : Driver dies in crash in Thayer Mo on Tuesday, 2nd July 2024

A driver died in a crash in Thayer on Monday.

Officers responded to the crash near U.S. 63 and Alton Road around 6:30 a.m. They say the vehicle traveled off the southbound side of the roadway through a wood embankment and hit a tree in a home’s backyard.

Emergency crews airlifted two juveniles in the vehicle to a children’s hospital. Emergency crews transported an adult and another juvenile to a West Plains hospital. Police have not identified the driver killed in the crash.
