Bradenton, FL : Woman and two children injured in a crash in Manatee County on Friday evening, April 1, 2016

A Sarasota woman and two children were injured in a crash Friday evening.

According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol:

Natachia Brannen, 27, of Bradenton was driving a 2002 Saturn eastbound on 63rd Avenue East at about 6:30 p.m. The front tire of the car had a blowout, and the car veered off the road where it struck a curb and overturned on its left side, with the roof striking a tree.

Brannen was taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. Two children in the car -- a 1-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl -- were taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
