Tampa, FL : Johnathan Armstrong Cottevill, 38, dies in motorcycle-pickup crash on N Nebraska Avenue on Thursday morning, June 25, 2015

A man died after his motorcycle crashed into a pickup truck early Thursday, police said.

Johnathan Armstrong Cottevill, 38, was driving northbound on N Nebraska Avenue on his motorcycle. He did not notice Whitney Holburn, 27, of Tampa, driving southbound on Nebraska, and when Cottevill tried to turn onto E Louisiana, Holburn hit him.

Officials said Cottevill was pinned under Holburn's pickup truck. Fire Rescue performed CPR at the scene and took Cottevill to Tampa General Hospital, where he died.

Holburn was not hurt. Police spokeswoman Andrea Davis said the crash is still under investigation.
