Trenton, NJ : 2 drivers hurt in Trenton Avenue crash on Monday, 3rd December 2018

Two teenage drivers were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday on Findlay’s Trenton Avenue.

Findlay police reported that Alexis Bear, 17, of Findlay, and Cayla Collingwood, 16, of McComb, both suffered minor injuries and were taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco Ambulance after the 5:47 p.m. crash.

Police said Bear was driving a 2008 Jeep Cherokee east in the 700 block of West Trenton Avenue when she tried to turn left at the Wendy’s restaurant and collided with a westbound Chevy Equinox driven by Collingwood.

Bear was cited for failure to yield on a left turn, police said.

The Equinox was towed, while the Jeep was driven from the accident scene, police reported.

The Findlay Fire Department and Dick’s Towing assisted at the crash site.
