Statesville, NC : At least one injured after a vehicle crash on Turnersburg Highway on Tuesday, February 2, 2016

At least one person had to have a limb amputated after a vehicle crash in Statesville Tuesday.

The accident happened on Turnersburg Highway just before 4 p.m. Officials have not released much information, but Medic confirmed that at least one person was injured.

That person, officials said, had to have a limb amputated. The victim's name has not been released.

From WBTV's Sky 3, It appeared that the accident happened or ended in the parking lot of a business. Three vehicles appeared to be involved. One truck also looked as if it had struck the business.

EMS crews could be seen attending to at least one injured person.

Officers have not said how the crash may have happened or if any charges are being filed.
