Delray, FL : Fatal crash at mile marker 82, near the Atlantic Avenue exit on Tuesday, 18th February, 2020

A fatal crash has occurred on northbound Florida’s Turnpike near Delray Beach, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.

The crash happened at about 6:45 p.m. at mile marker 82, near the Atlantic Avenue exit. A motorcycle and two other vehicles were involved, said Lt. Yanko Reyes, spokesman for FHP.

It initially shut down all northbound lanes. As of 9:30 p.m., the right lane was open.

No other details were disclosed Wednesday night.
