KNOXVILLE, TN : 2 killed in crash on Andersonville Pike in Knox County on Friday, 29th March 2019

Knox County deputies remain on the scene after two people were killed in a crash Friday morning in the Halls Crossroads community.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office said around noon Friday they were on the scene of a crash on Andersonville Pike at Holbert Drive.

Deputies have not yet released the identities of the two people who were killed.

The crash is under investigation. The sheriff's office estimates the road will remain closed until at least 2 p.m. and drivers are asked to use alternate routes.
