PORTLAND, OR : Driver killed following wrong-way crash on I-84 on Saturday, 29th June 2024

A head-on collision between two cars--one of which was going the wrong way--left a person dead early Saturday morning, according to Portland Police.

The accident occurred on I-84 at NE 162nd Avenue, at around 1:30 a.m., when a driver heading westbound was struck head-on by a driver going eastbound in the westbound lanes.

The driver heading westbound was taken to the hospital and later died, according to police.
