ErIE, PA : Girl injured in east Erie car/pedestrian crash on Thursday, October 6th, 2016

A 13-year-old girl suffered knee and shoulder injuries when she was hit by an SUV Thursday afternoon in the 300 block of East Ninth Street, Erie police said.

The girl walked onto East Ninth Street from between two parked vehicles just before 5 p.m. and was hit by a westbound SUV, police said.

The girl complained of shoulder and knee pain. She was taken to UPMC Hamot for treatment.
