Cullman, AL : 2 Hanceville women identified as victims in wreck on Thursday, 15th March 2018

Two people who died in a head-on collision Thursday morning have been identified.

Natasha Byrd, 31, of Hanceville, and Michelle Hicks, 45, of Hanceville, were killed when the vehicles they were driving collided at about 7:30 a.m. on Alabama 91 in the Center Hill community, said Cullman County Coroner Jeremy Kilpatrick.

Byrd was in the southbound lane driving a KIA when her vehicle and Hicks' Hyundai collided, he said.

The wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
