St. Charles County ,MO : Man dies and another injured in one-vehicle crash on Saturday night ,July 18th 2015

An O'Fallon, Mo., man died after the car he was riding in went off eastbound Interstate 70 in St. Charles County Saturday night.

Kyle R. Hutchens, 21, was taken to St. Joseph East Health Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver, Zachary T. Mills, 21, also of O'Fallon, was taken to the same hospital with moderate injuries.

Both Hutchens and Mills had been ejected in the accident, which occurred east of Route A about 8:44 p.m., according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Authorities said the car had been traveling at a high rate of speed. Neither man was wearing a seat belt.
