Brockton, MA : Man injured in Easton head-on crash Saturday September 3 2016
A man suffered minor injuries in a reported head-on crash Saturday morning, despite initial reports that one of the drivers was unconscious.
The Easton Police Department received a 911 call, about 7:50 a.m., reporting a head-on collision at the intersection of Foundry Street and Poquanticut Avenue.
The initial caller reported the driver of a Nissan Maxima was unconscious.
When firefighters arrived, they reported the driver was conscious and had only minor injuries. The first ambulance on scene canceled the second engine that was responding to the crash.The driver of the car was taken by an Easton ambulance to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck, which had a 2,500-pound capacity dump, was not injured in the crash.
Both the car and truck were towed from the scene, which was cleared about 8:16 p.m.
