Sunbury, PA : Fiery crash kills Mifflinburg man on Sunday, January, 28th 2018

A 53-year-old Mifflinburg man died early Sunday when his pickup truck left the road in West Buffalo Township, crashed into a concrete wall and burst into flames, according to a release from state police at Milton.

Police said David Allen Camp Sr. was driving his gray 2007 Ford F-150 pickup north on Forest Hill Road at about 12:20 a.m. when the vehicle went off the right side of the road. Mifflinburg firefighters extinguished the fire. The Union County coroner pronounced Camp dead at the scene, police said.

According to his obituary, Camp was employed at Ritz-Craft, Mifflinburg.

He was a member of the Mifflinburg Moose and Mifflinburg V.F.W. He attended West Snyder High School.

He is the 10th person to die in a vehicle accident on Valley roads in just the first month of 2018.
